Legal Clerk

We are looking for a Legal Clerk to assist our Attorneys with day-to-day administrative operations and the oversight of clerical aspects of legal matters. 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation, review, filing and service of documents.

  • Organizing and managing documents in physical and digital systems.

  • Diarising important deadlines, court dates and client consultations.

  • Liaising with clients and other stakeholders.

  • Other administrative tasks.

Requirements/Skills

  • Strong English Language

  • Experience in dealing with customers/ clients in a polite and non-abrasive manner at all times and the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Able to work accurately with strong attention to detail

  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.

  • Reliability and the ability to perform tasks on your own initiative.

  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.

  • Proficiency in document preparation

  • Paralegal or similar certification is a plus
